BBC album of the day for Creative Sound and Music Graduates - Trwbador

Owain Gwilym and Angharad Van Rijswijk also known as Trwbador, have achieved massive success since graduating from Creative Sound and Music at USW. Yesterday (21st August) saw BBC 6 Music announce their album, Several Wolves as album of the day.

Trwbador were conceived in Owain and Angharad’s second year of university as an idea for a final year project. “After leaving USW we continued to play gigs and make music; we were then contacted by an advertising agent who said he’d like to use one of our tracks on an advert” explains Owain. From there, Trwbador have experienced great success, receiving exceptional reviews from the music industry media, including Q Magazine, Art Rocker and more recently MixMag who described their album as “Philosophical Epicness”.
