Our Information Fair, on Wednesday 18th April,  will give you the opportunity to speak to our staff and students about our courses based at the Glyntaff Campus and find out if the University of South wales is right for you.

You’ve probably got lots of questions about becoming a student at the University of South Wales – that’s great! At our Information Fair there will be just the right people to answer them. 

Subject Advice

Our academic staff will be available to discuss the courses that you’re interested in and answer any questions you may have.

Careers

Speak to our careers staff for individual advice and guidance, and find out about work experience, careers events and extra support.

Student Finance

We can answer your queries about all aspects of student finance – including tuition fees, loans, grants and scholarships.

Disability and Dyslexia Support

 A member of our team will be available to explain the specialist support on offer.

Accommodation

Come and speak to our accommodation staff to find out about the range of accommodation choices available for you.

Student Money Advice Team

Student Finance

How much will university cost and how will you pay for it? In our Student Finance talks, you'll get a practical insight into financial support, such as student loans and grants, how and when to apply for funding, and extra sources of income. 


There will be two talks repeated at 5pm and 6pm. Simply ask a member of staff on arrival and they'll be able to direct you to the next available talk.

Campus Tours
Open Day - Accommodation Tour


Our friendly student ambassadors can take you on a complete tour of the Treforest Campus. This is your chance to see our facilities and ask them questions about day-to-day university life. Tours leave from outside the Elaine Morgan building.


Tours will be available between 4pm - 7pm.

Accommodation ToursAccommodation


Take a look at our accommodation and find out about life in Halls of Residence from a student point of view. Tours leave from the Elaine Morgan building and take around 45 minutes.

Science Laboratory ToursScience Labs


Take a tour of our state-of-the-art science laboratories and teaching facilities including our Microbiology and Molecular biology labs, Chemistry and Analytical labs, Forensic Evidence and Crime Scene Labs and Crime Scene House.


Tours will be available at 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

Police Science ToursPolice


See our innovative police training facilities and get a taste for the unique learning and teaching. Our impressive training suite will allow you to re-enact real life scenarios faced by police and security professionals during your studies.


Tours will be available at 4.15pm, 5.15pm and 6.15pm.
