We’ve got a number of recommended talks scheduled throughout the day to give you an insight into life on campus.
Start your day by finding out what the University of South Wales has to offer you in our Welcome talk followed by the chance to hear about student finance, accommodation and student life – make sure you check out our essential talks– it’s an exciting time to study here.
How much will university cost and how will you pay for it? Get a practical insight into financial support, such as student loans and grants, how and when to apply for funding, and extra sources of income.
Find out all you need to know about accommodation options at the University of South Wales. Where you live is just as important as what you learn, and we want this to be your home from home.
In this session, our students share their experiences of life at the University of South Wales, so you know what it’s really like to study here – they’ll answer any questions you may have too.
You’ve probably got lots of questions about becoming a student at the University of South Wales – that’s great! At our Open Day there will be just the right people to answer them.
Subject advice on student finance, accommodation, careers, disability, dyslexia support and applying to university are all covered as part of the day. Simply drop into our Information Stands between 8.30am and 2.30pm in the Elaine Morgan Building for a chat with our staff.
Note: Careers advice is available in the Alfred Russel Wallace Building, Upper Glyntaff, between 9.30am and 3pm.
Get a feel for what it’s like to be a student here and take the time to explore. Accommodation Tours leave from outside the Elaine Morgan Building from 8.30am and take around 45 minutes. Campus Tours run from 10am onwards and take around 40 minutes.

Free parking is available for the event, and all locations are within easy walking distance of each other. If you are travelling by train, please alight at Treforest train station.
