I know how to make any organisation a success, says Eunice

Business student Eunice Chipachini tells us about her studies

Eunice Chipachini, a third year Business student, talks about her experiences on the course so far.

“The Business degree at Newport City Campus features some interesting modules. These have not only stretched me intellectually and entertained me, but they have guided me in choosing the best routes to becoming an entrepreneur. I now know how to make any organisation I work for, or create, a success.

The marketing module was a personal favourite, because it made a direct contribution to my personal development, in the sense that we were asked to come up with an idea for a smartphone app. It was very encouraging to be discussing something so relevant to business in the 21st century. This module taught me how to think my ideas through and to abandon those that cannot be made to work!

The course has also helped me develop a number of transferable skills such as problem solving, communication and evaluation skills – all of which are fundamental to my career.

I really like the location of the City Campus. Newport is just the kind of multicultural environment where anyone can feel comfortable. Aside from the course itself, I like the setting of the campus, which exemplifies modernity. The teaching facilities are truly state-of-the-art. The lecturers and tutors are extremely accessible and approachable; they constantly exceed my expectations, and have never failed to impress me with enthusiasm and passion for the course, which is clear in their teaching.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time studying Business at the University of South Wales. I will always look fondly on my time at USW. The University has offered me a well-rounded life as a mature student, giving me access to an exceptional course and an exceptional department.”
