What you can offer to students and staff:
I regularly attend my remit of partner colleges to speak with groups of level three students about the availability of higher education courses within their college. I can provide advice and guidance to both staff and students on the nature of the qualifications and subjects available, the progression opportunities at USW and how our partner college students can be supported whilst they are studying a franchised course. I also attend the partner college open evenings and higher education events to promote our franchised offer and to help answer any queries that potential applicants may have.
I also engage with our level four and five HE students studying at our partner colleges to help facilitate with student progression to the wide range of top-up courses at our USW campuses. This can involve applicant drop in sessions to provide support and guidance on the application process, arranging student visits to our campuses or providing details about our £500 progression bursary.
have a query with regards our franchised offer or would like to book a talk for
your students then I can be reached on the contact details below).
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The most rewarding part of the job is seeing a student progress from a level three qualification through to a HNC/D or foundation degree and then on to a top-up course at one of our campuses. Supporting students along their learning journey and seeing them develop and flourish to be able to reach their goals is very satisfying. It is always nice to visit groups and touch base with students and see just how they have developed. In other cases it is also satisfying to see how education and learning has helped transform a student’s life particularly where they have overcome various challenges and difficulties.
also enjoy supporting the wider marketing team with events such as
university open days, applicant days and UCAS fairs. I really enjoy meeting
with potential students and their parents and being able to show them around
