Welcome to Cardiff Campus
COURSES AT OUR CARDIFF CAMPUS
Your creative future starts at the University of South Wales.
Our Cardiff campus is home to a vibrant and creative community, from Games and Design, to Fashion and Film. Placing emphasis on practical and/or work-simulation learning, we aim to create students who are creative-on-demand and job-ready, and provide opportunities to work and collaborate with industry partners, such as ITV Cymru Wales, BBC Cymru Wales, BBC Drama, Badwolf, Cloth Cat, Blue Stag and many more.
Cutting edge equipment and creative, professional spaces for you to master your art.
The Cardiff campus truly is a sight to behold. Inside you'll find a range of dedicated, thought-out spaces that strike the perfect balance of studying and socialising. It is also in the perfect location allowing us to collaborate with some of the best employers in South Wales.
We've invested in the latest technology, software and equipment to ensure that you are regularly using and learning in the same facilities that you would within industry and have plenty of dedicated spaces for students to collaborate on projects.
Set in the heart of Cardiff City Centre, the campus is easily reached by car and has excellent public transport links.
Living in Halls is a big part of the student experience – it’s much more than just a place to stay and we can make you feel right at home.
Celebrating our students
Each year we take time to celebrate the work of our Creative Industry students through a festival called 'Gradfest'.
This dedicated festival is home to project work, blogs, videos, social posts and so much more from our students and graduates. Students from across the university have the opportunity to showcase their work to the masses and take pride in doing so.
Our talented students and graduates have won Oscars and designed sets for BAFTA and won awards such as the Welsh Music Prize, the Pencil Award at the D&AD New Blood Awards, and even made the coveted Breakthrough Brits list.
His Dark Materials - Badwolf / BBC
More than 40 students and graduates from the University's Film and TV School worked on the BBC production of the epic and hit TV drama, His Dark Materials.
Sex Education 2 - Eleven Film / Netflix
