Our undergraduate Accounting and Finance degree is multi-accredited by the ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, and CIPFA meaning you can expect a high quality of teaching from South Wales Business School. Students can receive exemptions towards their professional qualifications as well as the CIMA-accredited Sage certification as part of their degree. We provide highly accredited tuition for the remaining professional body exams by ACCA and ICAEW.
South Wales Business School will prepare you for the future through real-world experiences. With year-long or short-term placements available to undergraduates as well as live projects, we aim to provide a mix of academic and practical learning. Atradius, Alactel-Lucent, and the Welsh Government are just some of the organisations that have provided longer work placements in recent years helping our students to stand out from the crowd.
We work closely with various industry partners meaning our students are taught by professionally qualified accountants and specialists who are active and experienced in the industry. We also help to build relationships for placement and work opportunities for our students - including The Development Bank for Wales, RCT County Borough Council, and Atradius to name a few.
