Open to alumni and students and hosted by the Graduate School and USW Careers, join us for Broadening Horizons - a career development event giving research students insights into careers beyond, as well as including, academia.

All are invited to come along to get inspired and hear how a research future can take you on to a career, home or abroad, across a wide spectrum of organisations and employment sectors. Be inspired by stories of personal resilience, skills crossover, educational choices made and how being agile to the needs of employers is vitally important.

Relevant also to those who have not necessarily studied a research programme of study, we're delighted to welcome Dr David Adams, newly appointed Technical Director of the FAW Trust as our keynote speaker. 

David will explore his personal journey through football coach education and player development, his decision to embark on a PhD (awarded 2018) and reference his most recent appointment as newly appointed Technical Director of the FAW Trust.
