Now in its 6th year, although re-imagined for the unique challenges facing graduate employability in 2020, Cohort Two expressions of interest for the Springboard Graduate Internship Scheme, are now being taken.

An integral part of the USW 2030: Springboard Programme, the Springboard Graduate Internship Scheme is specifically for Class of 2020 graduates and sits alongside wider resources and opportunities including access to enterprise & entrepreneurship activities, and graduate employability opportunities. 

Class of 2020 graduates have had the opportunity to apply for a paid four-month internship hosted by Faculties and Corporate Services Departments across the University. 

Opportunities have been split into Cohort One and Cohort Two, with seven Cohort One Interns joining the University on 19 October and a further thirteen being welcomed as Cohort Two in March 2021. 

Successful applicants who join USW as an intern receive over £10,000 worth of professional investment as part of their Springboard journey. This investment is made up of:

• A four month paid internship

• ILM Level 3 L&M Qualification fully funded
  

• IT equipment loaned to reduce digital disadvantage

• Access to new networks and annual leave entitlement
