Event Cancellation Policy

Event cancellation by an alumnus/na

Cancellation of a booking to one of our events will be dealt with as follows:

  • Cancellations received up to and including fourteen days prior to the event, will be refunded in full.
  • Notice to cancel received thirteen or less days prior to the event, or for those who fail to turn up to an event, will mean a refund will not be possible.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of notice to cancel. 

Event cancellation by the University of South Wales, Alumni Relations and Development Office

The University of South Wales reserve the right to cancel an event. In the event of such a cancellation and where a fee has been charged to attend, we shall refund the full value of the booking. In the event of a cancellation by the  Alumni Relations and Development Office, we will be unable to reimburse travel or other associated costs related to this event.

If an event is cancelled, details will, as a minimum, be posted as news on the alumni website.

All other reasonable attempts will be made to communicate with those who have registered to attend the event using registrant details provided at the time of event registration. 

Attendees are responsible for checking event information prior to the event.

Only in exceptional circumstances may other refund arrangements be considered.
