27 January sees the University welcome Sir Richard Dearlove KCMG OBE, (Former head of the British Secret Service until 2004 and Master of Pembroke College, Cambridge from 2004 to 2015) as he discusses 'War, Security and Terrorism'.
An accomplished speaker with fascinating insights into past, present and future issues on this topic, Sir Richard will give commentary on the safety of our global community - not least in light of recent events. This event is being held at our Upper Glyntaff Campus.
On 2 February, we are delighted to once again welcome Lord Hain of Neath (former Labour Cabinet minister) to campus as he addresses the talking point of 'Trump, Globalisation and Free Trade'. With Donald Trump being sworn in as US president on 20 January, what might the future hold? The location for this event has not been confirmed. Please check on the Global Choices Talking Points website for latest..
