As we mark Volunteers Week 2017, thank you to our alumni who give their time and expertise to support the University.

Our alumni volunteers support students and fellow graduates throughout their academic journey and beyond. This ensures that today's generation will have a vibrant network of contacts waiting for them long after graduation and will take with them skills required in today's workplace.

Are you looking for a way to give back to the University and gain valuable experience at the same time? Join other alumni volunteers who take part in a variety of activities in support of USW.

Whether organising a reunion, being an integral part of an overseas alumni group, mentoring a student or inspiring the next generation, there are plenty of ways you can remain involved with the University of South Wales.

Volunteering your time and expertise is the perfect way to keep yourself connected to the University, meet new people and share your University experience with others.

Hear from former BSkyB news anchor, Lorna Dunkley as she reflects why volunteering is important to her:

Volunteers’ Week is an annual and national celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. It takes place from 1-7 June every year.
