Volunteers' Week 2019: Time to celebrate

alumni volunteers

As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week 2019, we’d like to say a big “thank you ~ diolch!” to USW alumni who contribute their time and expertise to the University, helping our student and graduate communities remain vibrant and aspirational.

Whether organising a class reunion or being an integral part of an overseas event, supporting our careers programming or being an enterprise mentor, the contribution of our Alumni Volunteers is invaluable.

That’s why we’ll be celebrating our volunteers on social media all week from the 1 – 7 June.

Follow us on Twitter and Insta to hear from our volunteers and those they benefit, find out more about the different ways you can take part in our Alumni Volunteer Programme and join us in thanking our volunteers by using the hashtag #USWThanksU!

If you’re a graduate looking to give back to the University while gaining valuable skills and experience, join the community of Alumni Volunteers who take part in a variety of activities to support USW.

“I learnt so much at USW – not just about knowledge or experience, but about the development of me as a person. Hopefully I can give back to benefit another person who can take as much from being at university as I did.” Lorna Dunkley, former BskyB news anchor, BA (Hons) Communication Studies graduate and alumni volunteer

Thanks for making good things happen.
Through your ongoing support, we can continue to make a difference.
