Our 'Careers Go Green' graduate volunteers were draw from a range of organisations including Transport for Wales, Bluestone National Park Resorts and Durisol, as well as local authorities and academia.
Sessions were held across two days and were attended by more than 100 job seekers. The events showcased the breadth of sustainability in the economy, gave attendees insight into industry challenges and the role of sustainability in innovation, business, waste, energy and urban design - and provided those that attended with food for thought around how we can all personally adopt a more sustainable approach to life.
Lois Williams, Alumni Volunteering Officer, comments: "To welcome so many graduates from such a diverse range of organisations to talk about the importance and direction of 'greener futures' is testament to having graduate excellence at the very heart of contemporary issues affecting the world today. We're proud that so many of our graduates are playing their part in this area and were pleased they were able to contribute to our programming."
