Appealing your Results - FAQs

Information for Applicants

There are many ways in which we are supporting students during this confusing and often stressful time.

Give us a call as we may be able to consider you with your current grades for 2020 entry.

For the majority of our courses we will take your AS levels, mock results or predicted grades into account if they are higher than the grades you were allocated.

Please get in touch to speak to one of our advisers through our Clearing hotline if this is something that may help you on 03455 76 06 06 or contact us

Our Clearing hotline is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday.

If you are considering appealing your results we have put together a list of FAQs to help.

Applying to USW

No. Give us a call and let us guide you through an application over the phone and we can give you an instant decision for most courses. If we can make you an offer with the results you have received you can still appeal your grades – with the security of knowing that you already have a place secured at the University of South Wales.  Appealing your grades will not affect your place with us.

If you need to re-sit your exam/s before applying to USW then you will need to obtain your results by 1st October to be considered for entry in 2020. If your results won’t be coming through until after the start of October we can consider you for a place for 2021.

Yes, you can. We can take an application over the phone for you. This process takes about 5 minutes and we can provide you with an instant offer, unless the course requires an interview. Once you receive your results slip/certificates, or if you have an email from your school or college confirming your results, we can then confirm your place.

Yes, of course you can! Give us a call and we can talk you through the options for changing your course or deferring your offer to 2021.

Our term starts on the 21st September, so we need you to apply by this date.

No. Submit your application now so you know this is in place. You can always update your student finance application if you change your mind regarding your course, where you want to study or when you want to study.
