Applying to USW

Is my place at USW affected by the announcement?

Absolutely not! We can’t wait to welcome you to USW and are busy planning for you to start in September.

Can I be considered for a different course with my new grades?

Yes of course you can! Call us on 03455 76 06 06 and we can review your application.

My Centre Assessed Grades are higher than I expected - what happens now?

If you have an unconditional offer for the course you want to study then you don’t need to do anything! Your place is secure. If you haven’t yet confirmed your place give us a call on 03455 76 06 06 and we can talk you through what you need to do next. Please don’t panic – just give us a call!

My Centre Assessed Grades are lower than the grades I received on Thursday 13th – what happens now?

I don’t currently have a place at any university – can I apply to USW?

Yes of course you can! Please call us on 03455 76 06 06 and for most courses we will be able to provide you with an instant decision.

Will my school send you my Centre Assessed Grades ?

We will be receiving this information from UCAS but if you have these or if your school is able to supply them, then please forward them to [email protected] for us to consider.

We are advising all applicants not to make any drastic decisions yet and make sure you speak to us about your options.

Online Open Days

We are running Clearing online open days where you can chat to academics and students for insights not just into USW, but also on a range of courses you may not have even considered yet, plus helpful guidance on finance, accommodation and student life.

Live Events

Throughout August, we are running live subject-specific events. These events will be hosted by our academic staff, many of whom are at the forefront of their field. If you’ve missed an event on your chosen subject, don’t worry, you can still access recordings of each event.
