For added experience, you’ll use industry-standard facilities on campus. These can include computing laboratories with engineering software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Autodesk QTO, CostX, Synchro, and Navisworks and a dedicated built environment project area.

We recommend you spend a year working in the construction industry as part of your degree. During this ‘sandwich’ year, you’ll get hands-on experience that will make you a more attractive candidate to employers and will inform your studies in your final year.

Successful completion of the HNC Built Environment meets the academic requirements for entry to the Associate qualification of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and you could top up your qualification to a professionally accredited Honours degree.

Real Estate is the cornerstone of the Built Environment. Society needs spaces in which to live and work; and support the functioning of our economy. This course offers insight into commercial management and enterprise, with full-time and part-time study, allowing for the opportunity to earn and learn.
The Foundation Year in Real Estate forms part of an integrated four-year degree programme, and is designed for students who do not currently meet the admissions criteria for direct entry onto a degree course in subjects including BSc (Hons) Real Estate.

The MSc Safety, Health and Environmental Management degree produces such health and safety practitioners, who can identify, assess, and solve health, safety, and environmental problems by applying principles of good management.
