As we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, and in-person networking and physical events slowly start to fill our calendars, we’ve taken on a new External Engagement Manager dedicated to building professional relationships with USW Exchange.

At Exchange we harness the skills and expertise of the University to connect industry with academia. We’re thrilled to be expanding our team, with our new External Engagement Manager, Sarah Jeremiah, starting with us at the beginning of April.

Sarah will be building connections and sourcing opportunities for mutually beneficial business collaborations with USW. From upskilling your workforce, to working on global leading research, Sarah will be the stepping stone you need to access University talent.

Sarah says: “I think it is an exciting time to join the USW Exchange team as I feel that there is a renewed sense of vigour in the air following the pandemic and the emergence of Spring.

“I am looking forward to being part of the Exchange Team with its access to a wide-ranging environment of academic expertise, and to move into a new challenge with a team looking to support business needs and aspirations.

“The ability to get back out into the real world is something I am particularly excited for, especially being able to chat, listen and make important business connections.”

Sarah has a varied employment background, including working in the corporate, NGO and local government sectors, and most recently offered business support through a local authority provision.

Expect to see Sarah out and about at networking events and business expos over the next few months. To find out how USW Exchange can help you tap into university expertise, contact us.
