We’ve designed a series of leadership and management workshops to help you enhance your skills and become a more effective leader. Workshops can be booked individually, allowing you to tailor your learning, or as a package to achieve the ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management (details below).

Are you looking to take that next step in challenging your practice as a leader and manager?
Do you hope to get the best from yourself and from those you work with?
Our ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management is for managers who are hoping to get the best from themselves and those they work with. We have named the qualification the ‘Challenge Programme’ because it will teach you to challenge your thinking and meet the challenges you face head-on.

Who is it for?

This qualification is designed for potential middle managers, department heads and other practising managers. It is for anyone who wants to identify ways to transfer knowledge into action, and explore how self-knowledge and awareness contributes to good leadership.

What will you learn?

The programme consists of three strands which explore ‘the self’, ‘the team’ and ‘the organisation’ in relation to your own leadership and skills development. Embedded in each strand are the concepts of knowing, being and doing; taking the learner through a journey from understanding to embodiment.

“Manage well, lead more…’’

Many people have the word ‘manager’ in their job title, only to find that ‘leadership’ is talked about as something more desirable.

Our ILM Level 7 Award in Leadership & Management is a short, strategic programme for those wanting to unravel some of the mystery surrounding strategy, leadership and change. You will develop your own leadership skills and style, make informed decisions and enhance your personal brand.

Delivered in partnership with the Professional Development Centre, the programme encourages you to meet the challenges encountered in leadership and management head on. You need an open mind to challenge your way of doing things and that of those around you, be open to new styles of learning and be ready to discuss, be honest and want to learn.

Who is it for?

This programme is for potential and practising senior managers and leaders seeking to develop themselves. It is for managers who are looking to make the best use of resources, and understand the need to innovate and optimise performance.

What will you learn?

The programme covers a number of topics that aim to encourage strategic thinking at a senior level. Topics include: strategic leadership, developing senior leaders, planning and implementing change and power, politics, influence and networking.
