The three-year part-time MA Art Psychotherapy course at the USW provides you with the fundamental training, skills and clinical experience to become a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Art Psychotherapist.

The HCPC approved and BPS accredited Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology is the first of its kind in Wales, offering training in three therapeutic modalities, Humanistic Relational Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, and Systemic practice.

The MA Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy course facilitates students in developing a critically analytical and evaluative understanding of integrative counselling and psychotherapy theory and therapeutic practice.

This two-year part-time integrative counselling and psychotherapy course, is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and emphasises the integration of theory, research, therapeutic practice, and a commitment to self-awareness, to help you develop into a professionally qualified counsellor and psychotherapist that is safe, ethical, anti-oppressive, relational and creative.

The course will help to improve your employability potential by enhancing your communication skills, in addition to helping you prepare for further professional and academic training and development.

Our MA Music Therapy training is the only blended learning course running in the UK. It is designed to be accessible and broaden access to the Music Therapy profession. We want to support you to develop into the Music Therapist that is the right fit for you and your clients.

The MSc Play Therapy course provides theoretical and practical knowledge relating to play therapy, drawing on the experience and skills of qualified play therapists, as well as other creative therapists. The course team is actively engaged in clinical practice, and related research and publishing.
