Students on the BA (Hons) Business Management course also benefit from gaining a Chartered Management Institute Level 5 qualification alongside their studies on the course. This dual accreditation (subject to conformation) means students will gain the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, as well as their degree, upon graduating.
Dan Taylor, course leader for the Business Management degree comments: ’Having a CMI accreditation is very attractive to prospective employers and a great thing to have on your C.V. It will undoubtably help students gain employment after graduation.
The modules on the course have been created in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute. Topics are industry focussed, with the aim of giving students practical experience of the business world, and invaluable skills they can use in their future careers.”
As part of the accreditation, students will also gain membership to the Chartered Management Institute, which offers a range of products and services to help continue professional development after graduation.
