A First Class Honours degree for Kamaliah

Kamaliah Kamar graduated from the BA (Hons) International Business (Top Up) with a First Class Honours.
"When I completed my Higher National Diploma in Business I wanted to top up my course to a full degree and therefore I applied to the University of South Wales to study the BA (Hons) International Business (Top Up).
I loved studying at the University’s Pontypridd campus as it’s based in the beautiful valleys of South Wales. I have been living in Cardiff and travelling to Pontypridd for my course which has been perfect as Cardiff is only a short train journey away from the campus - I have still been able to maintain a city lifestyle, which I’m used to.
Studying on the course were students from France, Germany and China so there was a real mix of people from different countries. This brought a global perspective to topics being studied. You also learn to communicate and interact with others with a different cultural background.
The tutors on the course were really helpful and if there were areas you needed help with they were more than happy to meet with you to provide additional support. Business strategy was my favourite module and Dan Taylor, the Course Leader, was fantastic at explaining the module content in a way which makes it easier to understand.
Following my course I am planning to progress to the MSc International Logistics and Supply Chain Management. There is a demand for graduates in industry who have this specialism and the starting salaries have a tendency to be higher than other areas within business, which is reassuring in regard to job prospects following the course."
