USW's Crime Scene Investigation and Training Facilities

If you're interested in a forensic science degree at USW, you'll want to watch this! Explore our Crime Scene Training Facility from the perspective of staff and students.

This building is home to our crime scene investigation facilities and contains a number of realistic crime scene simulations – from domestic burglaries and break-ins, to more complex scenes such as homicides and fatal fires.

You will gain experience in crime scene examination, and learn about potential issues that may arise at crime scenes such as a contamination and how to avoid it.

You'll also develop the key skills that every CSI needs, such as crime scene photography, identification, documentation, recovery and packaging of evidence and the chain of custody principles.
