Owena Simpson has been a nurse for over 25 years and has worked in various roles across the NHS. The majority of her career has been spent working within the cardiac speciality.
Emily Steggall trained as a GP before going on to complete specialist training in public health. A consultant for Public Health England, leading work on cancer data linkage, her areas of expertise are child public health, screening & health information
Paul Griffiths is the course leader for Community Health & Wellbeing. His areas of expertise include physical activity and health; health promotion; health psychology and behaviour change
Teresa Filipponi is a Dietitian and registered Public Health Practitioner. Her expertise lies within public health and specifically in the areas of global, maternal and child health and nutrition.
Owain Jones is a registered mental health nurse and the course leader for Health and Social Care Management. He has significant expertise in the care of the older person, dementia care and mental health and widening participation
