Upgrade your professional qualification to a Masters degree

The University of South Wales offers a range of flexible fast-track business Masters for anyone who holds full membership to a relevant professional body or has an existing professional qualification.
Our fast-track Masters courses are an excellent professional development opportunity for those looking to deliver best practice in the workplace and further progress with a better understanding of strategic thinking. This flexible part-time route to a Masters degree is ideal if you need to fit your studies around your work commitments, and the exemptions available also mean you could study a course that is purely assignment based with no examinations.
We currently offer a fast-track route with 80 credits of exemption for the following courses:
- MSc International Logistics and Supply Chain Management - Students eligible for exemption route will only be required to complete the Globalisation of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Research Methods modules (20 credits each), plus a dissertation (60 credits) in order to gain the full MSc qualification.
- MSc Strategic Procurement Management - Students eligible for exemption route will only be required to complete the Advanced Procurement and Research Methods modules (20 credits each), plus a dissertation (60 credits) in order to gain the full MSc qualification.
- MSc Project Management - Students eligible for exemption route will only be required to complete the Managing Projects and Programmes and Research Methods modules (20 credits each), plus a dissertation (60 credits) in order to gain the full MSc qualification.
Who is eligible for the 80 credit exemption route?
You may be for eligible for exemptions if you are a holder of the following professional qualifications:
Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply
As a holder of the Graduate or Professional Diploma (MCIPS), you may be entitled to exemptions to our fast-track Masters degrees in strategic procurement management or international logistics and supply chain management.
Association for Project Management
If you hold the APMP Level 7 qualification, with a further 3-5 years relevant experience working in P3 Management, you could be eligible to study our fast track MSc Project Management course.
Can I Still Apply for Student Finance?
Please note that the fast track route does not attract government student finance as you will need to be sitting the whole course, not a lesser amount of credits due to previous study/experience.
