Benefits of flexible online study

Psychology Facilities

The MSc Psychology is an online course which combines content you study in your own time with live online teaching and support sessions where you can discuss and debate ideas with your peers and your tutors. The course can be studied part-time over two years or full-time in one year, so you can choose the pace which suits you best. And your live sessions are timetabled in the same slot(s) each week, whichever module(s) you are studying so that you can plan your schedule in advance. This means that you can fit your psychology studies alongside work and volunteering. This will help you gain direct experience to inform the next steps towards becoming a psychologist.

Most of our MSc conversion course can be studied in your own time within our own virtual learning environment (Blackboard). We provide you with video content, encourage you to take part on discussion forums, include online quizzes and highlight readings to deepen your knowledge. The content is there when you need it.

Becoming a psychologist will really test your skills in independent working, and the delivery of our MSc hones your abilities in balancing your time to achieve your goals. However, we combine this with opportunities to form peer study groups, to get regular support from your course and module leaders or even to catch up for a (virtual) social activity. After all, while being a psychologist is sometimes about independent working, it is also about good teamwork and strong communication.

The MSc Psychology balances independence, peer and tutor support, all in a flexible online delivery.
