Advice Zone - for all your student enquiries
The Advice Zone is a team of people within USW that acts as a first point of contact for all student enquiries. They can give confidential advice on anything that affects your ability to study. They work with other teams, including the services listed below, to help you get the overall support you need.

Academic Registry is a central department responsible for managing the administrative aspects of students' time at USW, such as information on exams, timetables and graduation.

Our Careers Service are here to help you evolve your career options, develop skills, explore self-employment and access work experience.
Chaplaincy at the University of South Wales is an open and inclusive service to the whole community. It offers confidential and non-judgmental support to staff and students irrespective of faith, culture, gender or sexual orientation.
The Centre for International English Students (CIE) offers a range of courses and support designed to help you improve your language skills, before and during your studies.
The Disability Advice Team helps people with disabilities transition to life at University, and supports them during their time as USW students.
USW Health Team is nurse-led and offers free health advice and support to all USW students. We form part of your overall healthcare provision, alongside your GP, pharmacist, dentist and the NHS.
The Immigration and International Student Advice team’s main area of expertise is in the immigration law and rules and offer specialised advice and information for international students and their dependants.
IT Services are here to help you with your online student account (giving you access to email, printing and payments and more), Unilearn (your online learning environment), open access to computers on each campus, printing services, and media equipment.

As exciting as university can be, it can also come with challenges. Things can feel overwhelming, and you might need support with your wellbeing and mental health. We are here for you. Our advisers can talk to you to explore your needs, signpost you to help, and support you directly. We also offer a wide range of events to help improve your wellbeing.

Unilife
UniLife is a portal for USW students. It's the main way the University communicates with current students, through news, promotions, alerts and more. It brings together access to all the systems and services you need as a student such as Blackboard, your USW email, teaching timetable and Advice Zone Online.
