Our courses offer

  • Our degrees are organised into a series of themes, each of linking to the environment sector. These themes include climate change, renewable resources and energy, biodiversity and conservation, environmental pollution, sustainable development, and environmental management. You can play a key role in providing solutions to the many challenges our environment faces.

  • You will develop your skills and experience as you work on external environmental projects locally, nationally, and globally. This will enable you to have a positive and transformational impact as you engage society, business, and government in future solutions for environmentally sustainable development.

  • The numbers of jobs related to the green economy are growing rapidly, including well paid positions as many organisations and businesses increasingly try to reduce their environmental impact. This course has been designed with industry to be employment focused and will give you knowledge, training, and experience in all of the key sectors for meeting the environmental challenges of the future.


Environmental Sciences Courses

Wildlife and Conservation Management - MSc

You will develop a wide range of professional skills including survey techniques, application of monitoring systems, and geographical information systems, within a framework of ecological theory, conservation principals and legislative systems. We offer an extensive and exciting fieldwork programme to help train you in a wide range of environmental survey and monitoring techniques.
