Finding my path in fashion design

I'm currently studying fashion design at USW, and my journey to this point has been one of discovery. I’ve always loved art and tried my hand at graphic design, but I realised that I wanted to work more with fabrics. Finding a course that balanced high ratings, and affordability led me to the UK, and when I compared my options, USW’s location in Wales and its course offerings really appealed to me.

Since starting here, I've found the facilities and supportive faculty to be highlights of my experience. The university offers a range of resources, like studios and equipment rentals, that make the learning process immersive and hands-on. While I haven’t yet had direct industry experience, the fashion industry experience module in my second year encourages us to find internships, and the staff here are incredibly helpful with CV preparation and networking guidance.
