PREPARING FOR STUDENT LIFE

Student Life

There is a lot to do before you come to university, especially if it's your first time as a student. But with a bit of preparation beforehand, your transition to university life can be as seamless and stress-free as possible.

We offer an optional introductory course to help you prepare for study or continue your studies. It introduces you to the tools you will be using and gives an overview of the support services available to you.

Moving in

Coming to university may be the first time you experience living on your own - an exciting, but somewhat daunting prospect. However, the skills and independence you develop along this journey are truly invaluable.

Our accommodation across South Wales is accessible, affordable and has all you could need to settle into a new location and begin your student journey. Here, you will be able to make new friends, add homely touches to your room and have the freedom to follow your own routine.

We’ve put together a packing list to help you get organised and some tips for settling into your new home.
