History Degrees
History degrees at USW provide the opportunity to study a variety of histories, political, economic, social, intellectual and cultural from British and European history, the Americas from the colonial period to the present, and aspects of global history from Cuba to China.

Our History degrees ensure students gain verifiable digital skills, including use and production of podcasting, blogging, and geomapping. Our academic staff are all actively involved in research from early modern magic to USA in the 1960s, so you’ll be taught by staff who are at the forefront of their specialist fields.

Students on our History degrees can choose to undertake a work-based learning module to gain experience as part of their degree, supported by specialist careers advisers. Students have gained experience working at schools and museums in the local area and placements can be suited to your individual interests.
