USW students create show for inaugural Cardiff Fashion Week

Fashion students from the University of South Wales will be showcasing their designs at the 2016 Cardiff Fashion Week.

The show, entitled ‘SELF’, is based around gender fluidity and the contributing designers include alumni and current students. Fifty students have been involved in the creation and running of the show, which includes thirty looks.

A live stream of the catwalk will be broadcast on social media.

Patricia Brien, Academic Subject Manager, said: “This show is special as it brings together and combines the experience of past and current students. They have been busy drawing from their own collections, as well as creating new pieces especially for this event”

The show will run at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm on Saturday 29 October at the Masonic Hall in Cardiff. You can book your tickets online here.
