Why Study Nursing?

Replicating Real-Life

Our Clinical Simulation Centre replicates clinical environments for education and training.

Expert Teaching and Support

Every student has a personal tutor and a module supervisor. During clinical placements students are fully supported by a qualified supervisor who acts as a ‘mentor’.

Industry Placements

You will be fully supported by a qualified nurse, who acts as a mentor throughout your placement.

Blue Light Simulations

We host Blue Light Exercises on our Glyntaff Campus so student nurses can work together with other emergency service personnel to manage the aftermath of a mock-up road accident.

From becoming a registered nurse to tailoring your career into a specific healthcare profession, USW can help you to take the next step.
