Our Information Fair, covering courses based at our Treforest site, will be held on Wednesday 18 April between 4pm - 7pm. The fair offers you the opportunity to speak to staff and students, explore the Campus and find out if the University of South Wales is right for you.
You’ve probably got lots of questions about becoming a student at the University of South Wales – that’s great! At our Information Fair there will be just the right people to answer them. Subject advice on our courses, student finance, accommodation, careers, disability, dyslexia support and applying to university are all covered as part of the event. We've got talks, tours, workshops too to help you make the most of your visit!
How much will university cost and how will you pay for it? In our Student Finance talks, you'll get a practical insight into financial support, such as student loans and grants, how and when to apply for funding, and extra sources of income.
There will be three talks repeated throughout the day at 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 6.30pm. Simply ask a member of staff on arrival and they'll be able to direct you to the next available talk.
Get a feel for what it’s like to be a student here and take the time to explore. Tours leave from outside Brecon Building between 4pm and 7pm, and take around 30 minutes.
Take a look at our accommodation and find out about life in Halls of Residence from a student point of view. Tours leave from outside Brecon Building between 4pm and 7pm, and take around 30 minutes.
Take a tour of the USW Sport Park, featuring our brand new facilities, including our brand new full size, FIFA 2 -star indoor football pitch and 12 platform strength and conditioning suite! Also have a look at our cutting edge performance analysis suite, state-of-the-art teaching rooms and sports hall, and 11 outdoor pitches with various playing surfaces.

Come along to the Armed Forces presentation at 6.00pm, and discover how our Armed Forces engagement team can support your application to study at USW using Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Understand how your experiences and learning may be used to gain entry onto our courses and find out what additional financial support is available.
In addition to this talk, the team will be available throughout the event to answer your questions and discuss your application to USW.
