Get a feel for what it’s like to be a student here and take the time to explore.
You’ve probably got lots of questions about becoming a student at the University of South Wales – that’s great! At our Open Day there will be the right people to answer them.
You can see specific facilities as part of your subject session - if you want to see more, feel free to ask us on the day!
Glyntaff is home to our health, nursing, police, sport and science students. As a leader in these areas, depending on your chosen course, you'll have access to state-of-the-art facilities including science laboratories, crime scene training facilities, clinical simulation centres and much more, alongside expert and industry-leading teachers.
The campus itself is surrounded by green open spaces and our students say they love the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views, combined with the practical, hands-on experience on offer.
There are two registration points on campus, check your programme before you arrive for details.
If you're interested in more than one subject, you should follow the programme for your 'first-choice' subject. You can find out more about other courses at the Information Fair.
During the campus tours and course talks you may get the opportunity to see some of the facilities you'll use on your course.
Our Glyntaff campus has state-of-the-art facilities including the latest science laboratories, a Crime Scene House for forensic investigation and the Clinical Simulation Centre.
Where you live is just as important as where you learn, and we want USW to be your home away from home so make sure you attent an accommodation tour.
Tours leave from outside the Elaine Morgan building from 8.30am onwards and take around 45 minutes.
If you need any help during the day, simply ask a student ambassador - they're here to help you!
Ask questions about your course or about student life to get an insight from a current student.
Information about our courses, student finance, accommodation, careers, disability and dyslexia support, and applying to university will be available on the day.
Our staff will be in the foyer, providing you with the perfect opportunity to ask any questions on a one-to-one basis.
Travel information and directions to our Pontypridd Campus, Glyntaff, can be found on our website: www.southwales.ac.uk/visiting.
