Travel Bursary

The bursary covers the cost of reasonable expenses associated with visiting the University of South Wales to attend an undergraduate open day, interview or an applicant day.
- Payments cover train, coach, air or boat fare at the most economical rate available. We are also able to support with the costs of travelling by car.
- Payments are only made to prospective students who have applied for an undergraduate course via UCAS.
Eligibility
To apply for the bursary you must:
- Be applying for your first undergraduate degree through UCAS
- Be eligible for funding by one of the four UK funding providers:
- Student Finance England
- Student Finance Wales
- Student Finance Northern Ireland
- Student Awards Agency for Scotland
- Have booked and attended an Open Day, Interview Day or Applicant Day at the University of South Wales.
How to apply
To apply:
- Read the Travel Bursary terms and conditions
- Complete the Travel Bursary Claim Form
- You must include your UCAS number in your application.
Assessment process
- We will review the costs you submit, and reimburse reasonable costs covered by this bursary.
- Once your claim is approved you will also be asked for your bank details as successful applications will be paid via UK bank transfer.
- We’ll award on a first come, first served basis subject to availability.
