You will be able to talk to one-to-one with academics to find out more about your chosen course. This is a great opportunity to find out what the course consists of, such as whether it is taught or assessed by research, whether there is coursework or exams, as well as the modules or topics you will cover. 

Explore the Area

You’ll get to explore our campuses and the local area. You can familiarise yourself with where you could be studying and admire the beautiful Welsh surroundings, whether that’s our vibrant Cardiff or Newport City campuses or nestled in the South Wales countryside at Pontypridd. 

Chat to Current Students

You’ll get a chance to talk to current postgraduate students to find out about their experiences. You will also be able to get an understanding of what a typical day as a postgraduate student looks like, whether you undertake a taught course or a research degree.

Discuss Support Available

Take the opportunity to chat to our support services to make sure you get all the support you will need during your studies, as well as any advice you need regarding finance, the application process, wellbeing, and disability.

Plan your Career

You will even get a chance to find out more about the career opportunities that USW can help you with. Our friendly Careers team will be on-hand at the event to answer all your questions and queries about work placements, interview help, CV workshops, and how your course can help you in your future career.
