The University of South Wales was awarded the HR Excellence in Research Award from the European Commission in 2013 and has successfully retained the Award through a number of reviews.

Since 2013, continuous progress
has been made in the way we support and develop our research staff and
improve the research culture and environment in which they work. It is our mission
to see that USW's research staff are even more engaged in their own career
development.
