Sociologists examine societies, institutions and other social forces like globalisation, to understand how they shape people’s beliefs, behaviours and identities. They can also look for solutions to problems and possibilities for change. You’ll study diverse sociological theories and topics, from consumerism to communism, racism to royalty, and trade unions to TV advertising.
