The University of South Wales has a strong pedigree for rugby. We currently have two degrees, a Foundation Degree and a BSc, both in collaboration with the Welsh Rugby Union, which have produced alumni now working across the world within the multi-disciplinary rugby industry.
Students will benefit from studying, training and playing in our world class facilities, including a 12-platform strength and conditioning suite and an indoor hybrid pitch built to World Rugby’s highest standard. Students also have access to a range of professional rugby support staff to help them develop their maximum potential both academically and on the rugby field. The staff are all level 3 and 4 coaches, World Rugby Coach Educators and Trainers, NSCA/UKSCA Strength & Conditioners and World Cup International Performance Analysts. All our staff and coaches are professionals and are all currently active in the Welsh Premiership and have roles with international teams.
We are continuously developing our high-performance rugby programme and the USW Elite Team competes in the BUCS Premiership South A division. Come and join us to push for BUCS Super League status.
