90% of our BSc (Hons) Sports Studies students were satisfied with their course (National Student Satisfaction Survey 2017).
The survey covers all aspects of the undergraduate experience ranging from the quality of teaching, feedback from assessments and the opportunity to develop personal skills to boost future employment prospects.
"For the second consecutive year, we are proud that our students have reported excellent satisfaction ratings that are well above the national averages for this course," said George Rose, course leader.
"In addition to our excellent and expanding facilities, we provide a friendly team of staff to deliver a variety of subject expertise. Importantly, we aim to develop a strong, albeit challenging learning community and every student can access a high level of interaction with both staff and their peers throughout their study.
Class sizes are often favourable when compared with other universities and we will also provide one-to-one personal coaching sessions with all new students.
Sport degrees naturally have a high level of employability focussed content and we provide many links with local employers to support our programme of placement modules; such as teaching, sports development, sports coaching, or working in the fitness industry."
