Paige Morris from Cardiff is studying learning disabilities nursing.
"Before my nursing degree, I worked in retail and volunteered with a charity that supported people with learning disabilities.
"Everyone in my family had always told me I would make a good nurse because of my caring nature, so I started to look into it. That’s when I discovered there was such a thing as a learning disability nurse and all of a sudden I had found my perfect job.
"Three years later and here I am, about to become a qualified LD nurse!
"There have been so many stand-out moments in the last three years.
"Like the first time I ever PEG fed somebody or the first time I did an injection to the time I supported someone to a GP appointment that they really didn’t want to go to.
"The small victories can really mean a lot when you’re a student nurse and it’s amazing how much you learn without realising it.
"I’ve just secured my first job in Hafod y Wennol, Assessment and Treatment, and I start in September!"
