Jack, a recent USW Media graduate, referred to his experience at USW as “a degree of many colours”. Alongside his studies, he had two part-time jobs, ran a small business with fellow students and spent a summer vacation doing Camp America. It’s that enterprising kind of approach that can make you unique and stand you out from the crowd, regardless of the course you choose. It’s the whole package that really counts!
Rhian, another recent USW student, has just graduated in English. She says she hadn’t a clue what she wanted to do when she started, apart from something that involved writing. She now has a great job in the SEO team at a Cardiff-based digital marketing firm and says about her time at uni: “It pays to make yourself as indispensable as possible and teach yourself a few new skills along the way”.
