During a very challenging and unfamiliar time, we are proud to welcome Dr Zi Hong Mok to our team of lecturers within the subject area of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Science.

Mok is a lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science and will be teaching specialist modules on both the BSc/MSci Pharmaceutical Science and MSc Pharmaceutical Chemistry awards in addition to contributing to specialist teaching in modules within the Biological Sciences subject area.

As well as being a registered and practising pharmacist, Mok recently completed a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science at Kings College London, where he also received his Masters of Pharmacy. His research interests are currently centred on the development of nanoparticle formulations in powder and colloidal suspensions for enamel delivery.

Aside from learning and education, Mok is a dancer and has performed as an ensemble cast in the National Theatre and in the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The intellectual challenges he faces at university and in research are just as exciting and inspiring to him as the physical and creative ones he experiences in the dance studio.

Study Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Science at USW and be taught by world-leading researchers and experts in the field.
