Halls are a big part of your student experience and there’s accommodation at all three of our locations. If you don’t want to live near the campus, there are great transport links to keep you connected. So whether you want campus living or a city centre experience, you can choose what’s right for you.
Many students choose to live in Cardiff, even if they study at a different campus. There are several student Halls in the city centre, as well as a huge choice of private rentals.
Halls at Pontypridd are on campus and they’re a big part of the community atmosphere. With over 1,200 rooms and students from all over the UK and the world, you’ll make friends for life.

We have student halls available at each campus or 3rd party or private accommodation.
Halls bedroom includes a bed, wardrobe, storage, chair, desk and internet access. Shared kitchens include a microwave, cooker, toaster, kettle, refrigerator and freezer, and there are laundry facilities available at each residence.

You'll receive your accommodation booking email by email once your place at USW becomes unconditional firm (and you are eligible to enrol on your course). For most students, this will be after the exam results are announced in the summer. International students will also need a valid visa application. Please see below for information on each location.
