Our business courses give you a realistic view of business, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to apply what you learn to the real world.

The business environment changes every day, so organisations need graduates who have a broad range of skills and can adapt. Making you more employable is at the heart of everything we do.

All our business courses have been designed in consultation with businesses and many are accredited by professional bodies, ensuring that you graduate with the skills and qualifications to succeed tomorrow.

The South Wales Business Clinic allows students to engage in work-based learning with other students, providing consultancy advice on live projects with industry. The clinic enables USW students to have the personal skills, awareness and discipline essential in the workplace, working with recognised local and national companies to overcome their business challenges.

We have partnerships with over 100 employers offering embedded employment-based teaching, including a 10-week internship for all students. Employers receive hundreds of applications for a graduate-level job, but with a work placement on your CV and relevant experiences to talk about at interview, you’ll increase your chance of landing your dream job.

Many of our business courses are accredited or approved by professional bodies, including the likes of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

These professional accreditations are a stamp of approval within the industry, giving you a competitive career advantage.

experience south wales

The places you study and live make a big difference to what you get out of university. It’s important to be somewhere that feels like home, but can also surprise you. South Wales offers rich experiences, with Cardiff at the heart.

With campuses in and around Cardiff, you can experience the diversity that south Wales has to offer – the buzz of the cities, the beauty of the coast, and the calm of the countryside.

We have five campuses across three locations, but we’re one university. Every campus is open to you and whatever inspires you, you’re always welcome.
