ENGLISH DEGREES
The Joy of Language
From Shakespeare and the English language to writing media, our English degrees will help you develop and enhance your expression, critical writing and thinking skills. Many of our English and creative writing graduates can be found in writing-related areas such as editing, publishing and journalism.
There’s a vast number of genres, texts and periods you can study within your modules, this makes our English degrees extremely flexible. This means you have the opportunity to design your own degree, selecting options that reflect your particular areas of interest. That’s in addition to learning how to teach English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).
Practical Experience

Throughout your studies you’ll gain skills that will help you succeed in any workplace, and engage with challenges set by external organisations to put these into practice.
