Our Health Science courses have been carefully designed to meet the needs of individuals who work with people in a care environment, including a care home or a person's own home, outside care establishments and in health and social care communities.
These areas are high on the government's agenda and our courses provide you with up-to-date knowledge and skills through a range of innovative teaching and learning methods.
We offer a number of research programmes including Masters by Research and Health Sciences PhD, which allow you to make an in-depth study of a topic that interests you or your organisation. You can study full-time or part-time, on campus or by distance.
We have research strengths in a number of individual disciplines and interdisciplinary areas including Genetics and Genomics; Addictions Research; Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities; Promoting Lifelong Health; Spirituality; Storytelling; and health and social care.

Our Healthcare courses offer a range of innovative teaching and learning methods, including debates, process simulation, law court scenario, role play scenarios covering multidisciplinary team meetings, direct observation and feedback in practice.
