CAE BabySim (BabySim)

The CAE BabySIM known as “Baby Ryan” represents a three- to six-month old infant. It can be used for infant CPR, airway management, drug administration and defibrillation.

Examples of some of the features:

  1. Bulging fontanel capability
  2. Blinking eyes with variable pupil dilation
  3. Voice sounds, heart sounds, bowel sounds and breath sounds
  4. Palpable brachial and femoral pulses
  5. Interchangeable genitalia and urine output
  6. Breathing patterns (e.g. seesaw)
  7. Needle decompression, swollen tongue, bronchial occlusion and laryngospasm.
