Interview advice and preparation

An interview doesn’t have to be a daunting experience. At the University of South Wales we use the interview process to assess your commitment to your chosen course and ensure you will uphold the values expected by the profession.

The interview will consist of a 15-minute written exercise, as well as a 20-minute experiential exercise (your interviewer will explain what to do) with the aid of a student ambassador if needed. This will be followed by a campus tour conducted by our student ambassador, where you can ask any questions you may have about the course experience or student life, lasting approximately 25 minutes. Finally, you will take part in a formal interview that will also last approximately 30 minutes.

Remember, this is your opportunity to think about the role and qualities needed, and how your talents, skills and relatable experience match what we’re looking for.
